Agile model In the agile model, software development is iterative and incremental. Agile model produces high quality software in minimum possible time. It is more flexible and better fit in a fast changing environment. There are 12 principles for the agile model : Satisfy end-users through early and continuous delivery. Welcome requirement change【需求变更】, even late in development process. Deliver working software more frequently. End-users and developers work together throughout the project development process. * Agile model Provide good environment to the project developers and trust them. Face-to-face communication is the most effective and efficient form of conveying information. Working software is the fundamental measure of progress. The stakeholders of the project should maintain sustainable development indefinitely. Agility is enhanced by paying continuous attention to technical excellence and good design. Simplicity is important. Best architectures, requirements, and designs are developed by self-organizing teams【自组织团队】. The team adjusts at regular intervals for becoming more effective. * 10-4 CMMI and Software Process Management CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) is a process improvement framework. It makes necessary changes in the process to transforms its weaknesses into strengths. Software Engineering Institute developed the initial CMM (Capability Maturity Model) in 1990 and it specifies software process maturity. The CMMI Project was developed to integrate the different CMMs into a set of integrated models. * 10-4 CMMI and Software Process Management There are Five levels of CMMI maturity : * Level Process maturity basements Feature Level 1 (Initial) Unpredictable results A process is translated from ad hoc approaches, methods, notations, tools, and reactive management, etc. Level 2 (Managed) Repeatable project performance Project-level activities and practices are the primary focus.
