Lifting and over-exertion are the second biggest cause of employee accidents. Lifting the wrong way can injure and damage your back. Read and digest the points below to help ensure you life correctly. 提举重物和用力过度是员工事故的第二大原因。以错误的方式提举重物会使你的背部受伤。阅读并理解以下要点将有助于正确的提举重物。
Size up your lift. Look at the item you want to lift, take note of its size and shape, and have a guess at how heavy it may be. Then think about where best to get a grip of the item. Look for anything that could allow you to lose your grip, such as oil or grease. Then ask yourself if there is anything that could harm you, any sharp or jagged edges, or something sticking out. 估计你要提举的重物的大小。查看你要提举的物体,注意其大小和形状并猜测它大概的重量。然后考虑手握物体的最佳位置。检查是否有让你无法手握的因素,如油或油脂。然后再检查是否有可能伤害到你的地方,任何锋利或锯齿边缘,或伸出的部分。
