Victim Support is an independent community organisation for victims of crime and trauma. We help people to overcome cultural, language, emotional, financial and practical barriers so they can get the help they need to recover, and participate fully and fairly in the justice system where needed. Victim Support can: ✓ Provide telephone and face to face support ✓ Help you to understand your choices and rights as a victim ✓ Provide practical information and answer your questions ✓ Assist and support you at court trials, hearings and dealing with the Police ✓ Listen and talk ✓ Help you to access counselling or other specialist support services ✓ Help you to receive financial assistance if you are eligible ✓ Prepare victim impact statements and attend family group or restorative justice conferences ✓ Help you regain control and rebuild your life.
