Based on the human head characteristic data from human body measurement, this paper employs similiar function merging and dart transferring to design a new hood that improves riders visual angle. With its brim designed as a curved shape, a transparent plastic baffle on the top and the size of the hood adjusted by an elastic band behind the hood to fit the human body. Finally, this paper makes a subjective evaluation of the functionality and comfort of the innovative hood. The results show that the hood designed in this paper solves the problem of blind spots, and its comfort has also been greatly improved. This innov
