【摘 要】基于网络的大学英语自主学习是信息技术与传统教学整合的一种新型教学形式，打破了时空的限制。自主学习是学生作为整个学习活动的主体、信息加工的主体、意义的主动建构者，而教师只是扮演意义建构的帮助者、促进者、支持者和评价者的角色。结合自主学习理论和建构主义学习理论，对这种教学模式进行界定，尝试了Blackboard系统下大学英语教学的新模式，改善了英语教学效果。【关键词】网络教学? 自主学习? 建构主义? 大学英语?
