The first school day
As I grew older,it seemed that every first school day was the best and the worst at the same time.Every year,Id hardly be able to sleep,waking up every thirty minutes or so,only to be wide awake by about 5:30 in the morning.Make sure I had everything packed about 10 times over.Yes,I was the student running around with the backpack(旅行包)already full on the first day of school.Here is one of my first school days.
On the first day,I got up early,walking down the street at 7:15 a.m.to pick up my friend Daniel,with my mom.Shed warned me that Daniel probably wouldnt be ready like I was yet and that we shouldnt leave so soon,but I was sure Daniel was as excited as I was for the first day.But when we arrived,he was still eating his breakfast.
Finally,we got to walking out of the door toward our school.I was walking ahead of the group,ready to get my first day started.I rushed to the younger kids playground to see where we were supposed (应该)to line up.I sat my backpack down under my teachers name,and was eager to be the first in the line into our classroom.
