Nanning Pumiao Paper Mill, Nanning 530200, China) Abstract ：This paper describes the selection of multiple process points before the distillation stage in alcohol production from sugarcane molasses, use of gravity separation methods (diluted molasses standing settlement, fouling removal at the bottom of the fermentation tank, mechanical centrifugationl) and gravity separation methods with the addition of chemical additives to perform antifouling processing on materials in alcohol production from sugarcane molasses. Physical and chemical parameters such as apparent fouling, total calcium magnesium and total sulfate were measured on materials and fouling to assess fouling removal effectiveness and characteristics.
