Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t. He/She is from… 能力目标 To understand conversations involving self-introduction. To give a brief self-introduction concerning name, age and hometown. 情感态度 Learn to be polite when we talk with others and how to be a friend. Learn to introduce yourself in the right way. 教学方法 Task-based language teaching approach Situation approach 教学工具 Tape recorder, Multi-media 教学过程 Step 1: lead in The teacher will start the lesson with greetings and self-introduction and show the useful sentence structure on the PPT. My name is … I’m … years old. I am from … I am a … My friend is … What about you? Ask the students to introduce themselves in groups by using these sentences. 设计意图:通过自我介绍自然导入,由于基本句式学生在小学基本都接触过,所以把基本句式展示给大家,让学生组内做自我介绍,让学生体会我会用英语介绍自己的成就感,调动课堂气氛,使课堂生活化,情景化,同时提高学生学英语的兴趣。 Step 2:preparation 1. Ask the students to make a name card by asking these questions. Whats your name? Where are you from? How old are you? Which class are you in? Nice to meet you. 设计意图:创设情境,给出任务,展示目标语言,让学生在完成任务的同时学会运用目标语言,同时在这里介绍一下西方的文化:比如不能询问女士和老人的年龄以及询问别人信息时要有礼貌等。 2. Show students three lovely pictures and ask students to tell me where he/she is from and check the answers. Where is he/she from? He/She is from China/America/England.
