M ethodology: Tw o hundred and thirt five patients w ith DN w ho had been d iagnosed b clin ical informa- tion and renal biops w ere enrolled. The incidence and character of anem ia w as investigated, and the relationship between anem ia and tubular function, serum creatinine, c statin C, m etabolism and other vascular comp lications was also anal zed. R esults: In 235 cases of DN, the incidence of anem ia w as 43. 8% . Anem ia could be seen in som e patients w ith norm al serum creatinine. Most w ere norm oc te and norm ochrom ic.
