The trad itional method for collecting and analyzing thro ghfall n itrogen, i. e. , the thro ghfallgathering m ethod, is labor intensive, and it may ind ce large ncertainties d e to the spatial heterogeneity of thro ghfall and the instability of the chem ical sol tion.
