GVDP v5.0 Update 22 May 2006 * PPAP status occurs 10 weeks earlier in GVDP 5.0 than it did in GVDP 4.1. This earlier status date also carries with it an earlier submit date although the submit date is not dictated in the GVDP. The reason for an earlier PPAP Status is so that we may have a known quality status for parts when the PPV (formerly PVV) build commences.
