Aim to the knowledge:Learn some words and phrases related toneighborhood“” (organization, committee, club, children, adults, etc) 2. Aim to the abilities: 1) Practice Students ’ listening skills, such as guessing, taking notes and dealing with unknown words etc. 2) Practice students ’ speaking skills, such as how to start a conversation and ask questions etc. 3)Learn to talk about “My neighborhood ”. Activity goals: 1. Let students learn how to get information of Mr Yang neighborhood.’s 2. Guide students get a certain idea of how to do a survey on the topic. Emotion goals : 1. Get students know more about their neighborhood. 2. Make students understand the meanings of cooperative learning. Focal points: 1. Get students know more about neighborhood by the interview. 2. Guide them to do their own survey. Difficult points: 1. Guide students to take notes while listening. 2. Lead students to understand stress in postlistening. Teaching methods: 1.
