But Tri-City United School in Minnesota, US, took this to a new level. The school turned Friday into Art Night. Art Night ran from 5 to 10 pm every Friday. It allowed students to get creative with paint, clay (陶土 ) and temporary tattoos (暂时性纹身 ). The members of the high school ARTeam came up with the idea. Thirty-six students registered (报名 ) for this activity. They were divided into three groups for 75-minute sessions (授课时间 ) of painting, pottery (陶器 ) making and henna (指甲花 ) design, with a pizza break in between. At the end of the night, students could take their work home. Out of the three sessions, henna was the most popular. It ’ patterns and has been practiced for more than 5,000 years in SoutheastAsia.
