Dazhou is called “The Hometown of China Gas”(中国气都）， “The Hometown of China Ramie”(中国苎麻之乡）， “The Hometown of China Olive”(中国油橄榄之都) and “Oriental Pearl of Sichuan”(川东明珠) Phoenix Hill(凤凰山） Climbing Phoenix Hill in January ninth day is a specific festival of Dazhou. According to records, Yuan Zhen(元稹) had done many things for Dazhou people. So when he left Dazhou, the people Climb the mountain in order to see him Phoenix Hill at this time every year. In that day, there are more than 300,000 people climbing the mountain. Zhenfo Mountain(真佛山） It was built in 1810 and it is the Buddhism paradise, which is known to all locally.
