Before class enjoy a song 2.揭题 T: Just now we listened a song. Do you like this song? What’s it about? You know in different mouths we have different festivals. Today we’re going to talk about Unit 7 Chinese festivals. Step2:Review (8分钟) 1.Review the Spring Festival ⑴(PPT)Look at this picture, what festival is it? OK! It’s the Spring Festival. T: Look at the Spring Festival, what comes in to your mind? You can use some words, phrases or sentences to describe it. (PPT: January/February, get together with family, have a big dinner, eat jiaozi) ⑵What else can we talk about? (PPT: get red packets, play fireworks) ①(We can get the red packets. Do you know “packets”? Read it after me. (packet--packets).Can you get some red packets at Spring Festival?So you’re happy at this festival, right? ②We also play fireworks. Read it after me. (fireworksplay fireworks) Children especially like playing fireworks. Do you like it? But now we can’t play them in the city, we can only play them in the countryside. We should protect the environment. Now, if I want you to colour this festival, what colour is it? Some of you think it’s red, some of you think it’s white. Why? Because sometimes it snows. So, we can call it white. ⑶Boys and girls ,you know a lot about Spring Festival. So, when we see “Spring Festival” we will think about time, activities, food, feeling, presents, colour and so on. 2.
