And which athlete do you have the deepest impression of? 张继科？马龙？符慧园？孙杨？Well ,I have to say that I like 张继科most after watching his performance in the table tennis compititions Olympics.And here comes the topic of my speech today ——the brief history of Chinese table tennis. In February 1904,the table tennis was introduced into China from Japan.At the very beginning,a stationer(文具商）in Shanghai (called 王道平) brought 10 pairs of table tennis equipment from Japan and gave performances in his stationery store.And the trend of playing table tennis was then wild spread . During 1925 to 1935,China took part in a series of table tennis competitions/matches held in Asia but (we) only won a very small number of medals ,because at that time ,we didn’t have professional training skills and scientific systems.It was a tough time in Chines history. Later,after the foundation of the People’s Republic of China,the government paid special attention and gave great supports to the table tennis’ development.Chinese table tennis enjoyed a comparatively long period of boom繁荣.And In 1950,the ping-pong was confirmed as the national ball of China.Three years later, the National Table Tennis Association of China was founded.And in the same year,it joined the International Table Tennis Federation（联合会）.
