The teaching of the story plays a significant role in improving students attention, cultivating students interest and improving the students self-learning ability. The article expounds the story the important meaning in the teaching in the elementary school mathematics teaching, through the study of the cause analysis of the problems existing in the teaching, discusses the application of the stories in the elementary school mathematics teaching the subject, in the hope of excelling in math to improve elementary school mathematics classroom teaching quality, enhance students learning in elementary school, to cultivate the students ability of autonomous learning, and inspire students thinking and master the knowledge faster technology, reach the purpose of improving the teaching efficiency.
