Ⅰ. Target language

Show the following questions on the PowerPoint.

2. Whose hobby did Brian enjoy most? Why?
Sample answers:
1. Brian’s hobby is stamp collection.
2. Brian enjoys Jenny’s hobby most. Because his teacher said that gardening is
enjoyable and easy to learn. Everyone can take part in gardening.
Step III Reading
Get students to read the passage again. Explain some language points to help them
to better understand the passage.
T: Read the text carefully and try to find some points difficult to understand.
Language Points:
1.send back 寄回来
E.g. I send Mary a pencil box, but she sent it back to me.
2. bring sth. / sb. to some place
E.g. Remember to bring your homework to school.
3. everyone / everybody 谓语动词用单数。
E.g. Everyone has his hobbies.
4. so do / be sb.
E.g. Jane likes skating, so do I.
Step IV Writing (Let’s Do It)
Help students to know how to write a collector and ask them to write about a collector
they know.
