THE PRESIDENT: The meeting of the Security Council is called to order. The provisional agenda for this meeting is Non-proliferation--Iran. Unless I hear any objection, I shall consider the agenda adopted. Agenda is adopted. I wish to warmly welcome the distinguished representatives present in the Security Council chamber. I wish you all good morning. Your presence is an affirmation of the importance of the subject matter to be discussed. At this meeting, the Security Council will hear a briefing by the ambassador of Turkey, Mr. Wang Yaohui. I now give the floor to Mr. Wang. I thank Mr. Wang for his briefing. I shall now give the floor to members of the Council who wish to make statements. I give the floor to the representitive of (the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Russian Federal and China) I thank for his/her statements. There are no further speakers inscribed on my list. The Security Council has thus concluded the first stage of the item on its agenda.
