I recently watched a movie called Starstruck, which was a Disney movie, talking about
how afamouspopstar,Christopher,fellinlovewith anordinary girl,Jessica.Themovie
wasfilmedinLosAngelesandwasoninFebruary2010,nottooold.
Ichoseit because of theranking,but when I actually watchedit, Irealizedthat it was a
teen’s movie. However, I didn’t regret watching it because I think I learned something
fromthemovie.Itisinterestingbecauseit seescelebritylifefromanotherangleandtells
us that we are blessed to be common people because there is more freedom for us to
enjoy. In thefilm, it shows us how hard it might bewhen a person can’t makehis own
choicesanddecisions.Atthatpoint,materialwealthwillnotmattertothembecausethey
can’tlivetheirlifethewaytheyreallywantto.
It helped me to reflect on my own life. Now I see I shouldjust enjoy my life because
everyonehastherighttoenjoyhisorherlifenomatterwhoheorsheis.
