(2) You aer the only person here that can speak French. (3) Not a single person was in the shop this morning. (4) How dare you buy such expensive jewels? (5) It was such an interesting television show. (6) Everyong was so excited about the institutes 80th annniversary ceremony. Emphasis 2. 用副词进行强调，修饰动词、形容词、介词短语或句子可以用 ever, never, very, just等副词和badly, highly, really 等以-ly结尾的副词进行强调。 (1)Why ever did you do so ? (2) This is just what I wanted. (3) He was badly wounded. (4) I really want to have some coffee during the interval.. (5) Actually, the Venic Film Festival doesnt just have Hollywood films. Emphasis 3. 用介词短语进行强调，in the world (世界上,根本,到底),on earth (到底,究竟) 等进行强调。 (1)Where in the world could be he ? (2) What on earth did he say to you?. Emphasis 4. 用助动词进行强调 (do/does/did) 等强调谓语动词，后加动词原形，译成“的确，确实”。 (1)He did tell me that the meeting was postponed yesterday. (2) He does like listening to the classical music.
