. Theoretical framework
According to the National English Curriculum Standards for general High
School(2017), the English class should aim for improving students ’ learning ability,
and respecting individual differences; developing core competence of English subject
and advocating the process and experience of language learning. Hence, in my instruction design, there are many activities set for students to talk about the history of the Olympics and guide students to do comprehensive training of reading, listening, speaking and writing.

A.The students of senior 1 have learned English for several years, they can communicate using some complex English forms. But not good enough in the abilities of reading, speaking, this class will focus on training these abilities.
