People who have visited the Forbidden City would be impressed by the wisdom of the ancient Chinese. The Forbidden City lies in the center of Beijing, nort h of Tian ’ anmen Square. It has 9999 buildings, which are surrounded by a six-meter-deep moat and a ten-meter-high wall.
