Unit 6 I’m watching TV. Section A 1 (1a-2c) 一、教学目标: 1. 教学设计 Learning aims: 1. 语言知识目标: (1)掌握以下单词和动词短语: read a newspaper, talk on the phone, listen to a CD,use the computer,wash the dishes,make soup. (2)掌握以下句型: ——What are you doing ? ——I am watching/cleaning/reading...” ——What’s he/she doing?——He/she is listening to a CD. ——What are they doing? —— They are making soup. (3)掌握语法: 现在进行时的用法。 2. 技能目标: 能听懂用现在进行时谈论自己及他人日常活动的对话,并能用这种语法进行相关话题会话。 3. 情感态度目标: 了解电话会话中中英文表述的差异,尊重各国文化特点。 教学重点:现在进行时的用法 难点:现在进行时与一般现在时的区别。 二、教学过程 Ⅰ. Warming-up and Lead in 1. Greetings. 2. The teacher asks some students to answer questions. 3. Watch the video and listen to the music. 设计意图:教师由询问日期引入周末来了,通在询问学生周末的活动,引出学生喜欢音乐来导入歌曲:Are you sleeping? Ⅱ. Presentation Show the picture to the Ss and lead in the topic: I am watching TV. 1. Show some pictures on the big screen. Present the new words and expressions. 2. Ss watch and learn the new words and expressions. 3. (Show some pictures on the screen and the teacher performs the actions.) e.g. T: This man likes reading the newspaper on weekends. T: What are you doing now? S: I am listening to a CD. T: What is he /she doing? Ss: He /she is reading the newspaper. Teach: newspaper ,soup,wash,use.(write them on the blackboard) 4. Practice the phrases again and again. Divide the sdudents into two groups . 计意图:此处用生活图片带引出新单词(划线的为新单词,在词组和句子中学生更容易理解单词词意),而此环节并不单纯只是引出上述内容,还需要引出新句型,让学生在新句型中练习短语。在句型中练习短语,就可以引出这些动词短语的doing形式了。 不过此环节还是侧重于短语学习,句型为辅。在最后要对所有短语进行检查,检查分两个层次,一是说出这些动词短语,二是用doing形式说出这些短语。 5.Work on 1a. Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures. 6. Check the answers with the Ss. Ⅲ. Listening 1b 1. T: I have four friends, they are Jenny, John, Dave and Mary. .Now let’s listen to the tape, find out the right activities from 1a. Find out what John, Dave and Mary are doing. 2. Play the recording for the Ss twice. 3. Ss listen to the recording and write the numbers from 1a. 4. Listen and repeat. Ⅳ. Li
