Teaching Plan Nomophobia Teaching Objectives 1. Knowledge objectives: 1) The students will be able to find out the meaning of nomophobia through scanning. 2) The students will be able to find out the changes of the author ’s feelings and reasons through careful reading. 3) The students will be able to know how to overcome nomophobia through discussion. 2. Ability objectives: The students will be able to improve the reading skills such as scanning and careful reading, and improve their critical thinking through analyzing the information based on the passage and enhance their cooperative spirit through discussing. 3. Emotional objectives: 1) The students will critically pay attention to the convenience of using cellphone and the shortcomings itbrings . 2) The students will get to know how to get rid of nomophobia and know the importance of company and have a positive attitude to using phone. Teaching important point: How to get the students to get the information efficiently in reading part and apply what they have got from reading to appreciate the passage and to further explore the issue related to the phone. Teaching difficult point: 1. How to arouse the students ’interest to be active in class and make them cooperative to finish the tasks. 2. How to make the students improve their critical thinking and freely express their thoughts about cellphone.
