教学目标:
复习三个目标句型:how, how long, how far的问与答。
围绕三个目标句型进行听说写的操练。
教育学生注意交通安全,倡导绿色出行,低碳生活。
教学重点:
1.交通出行的两种表达方式的转换。
2.学会询问他人出行工具、两地间距离和路程时长。
教学难点:
1.乘坐交通工具的表达方法,让学生能够熟练运用和区分walk on foot; take, ride和by表示交通方式。
2. 区分辨别how long句型和how far 句型的问与答。
教学步骤:
Step 1: Lead-in
Watch a video and answer three questions:
How did he get to school?
How does he get to work?
How will he get to space?
(设计意图:通过视频导入,一方面,能够有效吸引学生的注意力,另一方面,引领学生复习所学交通方式的两种表达方法。)
Step Two: Pair work
The first pair talks about how they get to places and the second pair retells how he/she gets to places.
A: How do you get to …?
B: I walk to .../I get to … on foot.
C: How does he/she get to …?
D: He/She walks to .../He/She gets to … on foot.
(设计意图:由视频回归到学生自己的生活,通过两两对话和转述,练习第一个目标句型How do you get to school? I get to school on foot。同时注意第三人称单数的表达。)
Step Three: Chant
How do you get to school?
Take a plane? Oh, no.
Take a bus? Oh, yes.
Ride a bike? Oh, great.
Walk? Oh, super!
How does she get to Beijing?
On foot? Oh, no.
By bus? Oh, yes.
By train? Oh, great.
By plane? Oh, super!
(设计意图:伴随着节拍,通过诵读来巩固交通工具的两种不同表达方式,朗朗上口,学生兴趣高涨。)
Step Four: know about you and your friends
The teacher shows a map from her home to school. Ask students three questions:
How do I get to school?
How far is it from my home to school?
How long does it take me to get to school?
Then ask students the three questions:
(设计意图:通过教师引领,让学生使用三个目标句型互相谈论个人情况,让所学目标语言回归到学生的现实生活,为日常交际服务。)
