Firstly, the author discussed all kinds of definitions and structures in the field and brought forward the authors definition and structure based on the authors investigations. What the structures are required concretely by users at present based on the authors investigations, and the author analyzed the reasons and the trends of such a status deeply. The author discussed some problems in the building of intelligent residence and put forward some constructres suggestions. On the design of the sub-system of intelligent residence, on which the author designed the auto-communication system, PDS etc in consideration of its concretere quirements.
