PAGE PAGE 1 / 2 一、教材分析： 小学五年级英语绘本阅读教案 The very hungry caterpillar 本绘本讲述的是毛毛虫蜕变的过程，内容涉及到一周七天和多种食物的单词；句型有：On Monday, he ate through one apple, but he was still hungry. 二、学生分析 本课的教学对象是五年级学生，他们在四年级已经学习过一周七天： Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 及句型：What do you do on Saturday? -I play basketball on Saturday. 而且他们经过两年多的英语学习，已经有一定的英语基础，加上思维导图的帮助，学生应该能容易地读懂绘本的内容。 三、教学目标： （一）知识目标： 了解有关食物的单词； 掌握句型如 On Monday, he ate through one apple, but he was still hungry. 能读懂绘本内容。 （二）能力目标： 能读懂绘本内容，并能根据图片思维导图复述毛毛虫蜕变的过程。 （三）情感目标： 通过绘本的学习，让学生感知毛毛虫蜕变的过程，感受生命的奇妙，从而提出倡议：Animals are so lovely. We must protect animals! 四、教学重点： Understand the growth process of the butterflies and learn the new words of the food. 五、教学难点： Learn the new words of the food. 六、教学过程： Step1: Warm-up Greetings Show a bad apple. Ask: Look at the apple. Is it good or bad? Who can eat through the apple? Can you guess? Show a picture: caterpillar Lead-in the bookThe very hungry caterpillar Step2: Presentation Talk about the cover of the book. Read the story: play the video. (让学生整体感受绘本的内容) Read each part. Use the Mind-map to remember the important points. Lead the students to complete the mind map in Task 1. (引导学生学习使用思维导图进行内容的总结。) Learn the words of the food. Use the Mind-map to understand the whole story. Step3: Practice Finish Task2. Use the reading puzzle to check the student’s understanding.
