开放式数控系统应用资源库课件peg-and-mark-(v6).ppt

PEG and MARK – Fast Digital Inputs and Outputs General PEG (Position Event Generator) provides ability to create events based on exact position. These events can be used as an application trigger for any external device, such as a camera, laser, etc. A PEG pulse is generated by hardware (delay 0.1 microsecond) after comparing actual encoder position with a set of predefined values. PEG is supported by main axes only (X, Y, Z, T). PEG accuracy: +/- 1 count up to 5M counts/sec (using a digital encoder). SPiiPlus provides two modes of PEG: Incremental PEG Random PEG In random PEG four PEG state bits are available for X and Y axes. Bit states follow a predefined logic associated with each PEG pulse. Digital Output Configuration – SPiiPlus PCI For SPiiPlus PCI, ASSIGNPEG command is used to assign digital outputs to PEG pulse and PEG state bits. Digital output assignments are as follows: Digital Output Configuration – SPiiPlus PCI LT For SPiiPlus PCI LT and SPiiPlus PCI ST ASSIGNPEG command is used to assign digital outputs to PEG pulse bits. Digital output assignments are as follows: Digital Output Configuration (cont.) Digital Output Configuration – SPiiPlus CM For SPiiPlus CM, PEG pulse and PEG state have dedicated pins. These pins can be used as general purpose digital outputs. If not used as PEG, the following can be used as general purpose outputs (in addition to OUT0.0 – OUT0.7) Incremental PEG Mode Incremental PEG Mode (cont.) Incremental PEG (cont.)
