In this paper, design of the pressing machine is mainly used in small and medium enterprises, to complete a simple punching, has simple structure, convenient operation, high production efficiency, etc. In this paper, the design of the reference JH31-G3 mechanical press, 60 tons of press is designed. The press adopts the si ider-crank mechanism as the executing agency to complete the punching. In this paper, by analyzing the control requirements and working condition of the press, decided to adopt the double reduction gear transmission, on the basis of the theory of traditional method to press the transmission system design, calculation, strength check, make sure the design of the drive system, and draw the transmission system principle diagram, drive system is given the job description, and carries on the feasibility analysis, finally, the whole design system analysis, it is concluded that the whole design is feasible.
