In ad- dition, the feasibility of the modification of the wastewater treatment plant using the IFAS process was also investigated. The results showed that the effluent COD, NH+ -N and TN of the IFAS 4 process and the modified wastewater treatment plant were satisfying the discharge standard (COD 300 mg/L, NH+ -N 30 mg/L, TN 50 mg/L). Therefore, the IFAS process was able to re- 4 construct the wastewater treatment plant of pigment chemical plant.
