I think it ’ s a good idea for students to work for a year before entering university. First of all, students can save up for school. University education has becoming increasingly expensive. The money earned can cover a pretty big part of the school expense. Students can keep working for the company part time when school starts if they can maintain a good relationship with the employer. Second, students can broaden their horizon working. They can learn things outside of classroom setting, such as how to interact with co-workers, deal with real world problems and meet deadlines that are sometimes unrealistic. Task 2 Some people prefer to do team sports, others prefer to do individual sports. Which do you prefer? I prefer to do individual sports for the following reasons. First, doing individual sports like jogging gives me more personal space. I like listening to my favorite music and audiob ooks while jogging. I ’ m usually occupied with schoolwork everyday, so jogging allows me to take a break and collect my thoughts. Additionally, it ’ s more flexible to do individual sports. That means I don ’ start or stop according to other people ’ splan or schedule. Also I have total control of the intensity. If I ’ m not that energetic, I ’ ll go easy on myself; if I feel great, I ’ ll try to push myself to the limit.
