This article descriptively analyzes facilities for elderly in the county based on a field study in the following aspects: types and characteristics of facilities available for elderly in the county as well as knowledge and attitudes of the elderly towards the facilities. The result shows that King County has different type of facilities for elderly which provide different degrees of services to the elderly. On one extreme is the senior activity center which provides “activity but”not living assistant services. On the other extreme is the nursing home, providing daily life assistance and services to the elderly acc
