Abstract: This article intends to reflect the similarities and origins of culture between Fujian and Taiwan through a re-
search on Confucian temple with the examples of Quanzhou Confucian temple and Confucian temple in Tainan As an ar-.
chitectural form, Confucian temple building not only obeys the organizational system but also reflects the difference of
nationalities and regions. It gives us a good deal of enlightenment how to carry forward the quintessence of traditional
architectural art against a background of globalization.
