2. 能争取学会使用下列常用短语造句子 (Useful expressions)

3. 能认读下列词汇 (non-curriculum words).

Teaching and learning steps
Step I: Learn to read the words and phrases on P129-130.
1. Ask the students to read the words and phrases by themselves using the phonetics and
underline the difficult words that they can ’t pronounce, such as available, invitation, reply,
forward, preparation, without, surprised, concert, calendar
2. Encourage the students to read the difficult words with their partners. One student reads,
the other listens and helps to correct the wrong pronunciations.
3. Get several students to read the words aloud in turn in class and the others correct their
wrong pronunciations. If necessary, the teacher corrects them.
4. Read the words after the tape.
5. The students read the words aloud by themselves while the teacher walks around the class
to see if the students have any questions.
[ 操作说明 ] 鼓励学生以两人一组为单位解决有困难的单词。接着找两三个同学读单词,如
果有发音错误,请其他学生先纠正,必要时,教师再更正。
【设计意图】 该步骤能有效培养学生个人识读单词的学习习惯,这是学习单词的重要一步;
能培养学生自主、探究和合作学习的能力
