Bass Drum Instruction Manual Thank you for purchasing TAMA Marching Percussion Bass Drums. In order to maximize the performance of these unique systems, please read through this manual carefully before use and then store it in a safe place for future reference. Notes on the diagram - Specifi cations - 1. Noiseless Carrier Attachment All bass drums come with carrier attachments designed for different bass drum sizes. Please use with Silver Armor carriers. The attachment is located at the opposite side of the badge on the bass drum. 1. 2. Locking Bass Stand Attachment All bass drums come with attachments to fi t TAMA bass stands (except 14 16 diameter bass drums). Please use with TAMA Safety Lock Marching Stand. The attachment is located just below the Noiseless Carrier Attachment. Use the Noiseless Carrier Attachment to lock 14 and 16 bass drums to the stand. 2. Maintenance – Retighten screws, bolts, and nuts before starting each session. After each playing session, wipe the entire drum down with a high quality polishing cloth. It is advisable to use a drum cover during the performance outside to avoid bubbling of the shells covering material due to extreme weather conditions.
