Preparation Ticking paper, PPT Teaching procedures Step 1: Lead-in Warming-up Sing a song: The signs in the park Game: Yes or No! Read the sentences together. If you think it is right, please say: Yes, Yes, Yes. If you think it is wrong, please say: No, No, No. Step 2: Presentation Culture time In the UK, people call the metro “underground”. In the US, people call the metro “subway”. Enjoy more pictures about metro. Ticking time: I know different names and signs of metro. Cartoon time 1) Let’s look and talk What are they doing? Teach: outing 2) Let’s watch and answer What time is it? What does Bobby have for lunch? Does Bobby have a good lunch? 3) Let’s listen and imitate Teach: walk on, around 4) Let’s read Ss choose one way to read in groups. 5) Let’s imagine Happy ending/terrible ending: What will Bobby and Sam say? 6) Let’s read and act Ss choose read or act in groups.
