This Technical Information Sheet documents information related to any limitations or known issues in using Dell OpenManage Server Administrator 8.2 on systems running the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 operating system. Known Issues and Limitations • Description: Mismatch in the BIOS attributes in Server Administrator 8.2 and F2 BIOS. On Dell PowerEdge R905 running the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 operating system, the BIOS Setup page in Server Administrator 8.2 displays an attribute called DUAL NIC. This DUAL NIC attribute is displayed in the operating system report, but not displayed in the F2 BIOS screen. Resolution: This is a known issue and does not cause any functionality limitation. The fix for this issue can be expected in the next available version of Dell OpenManage Server Administrator. • Description: NVMe PCIe SSDs are not detected on the latest version of Dell OpenManage Storage Services. NOTE: NVMe PCIe SSDs are not supported on systems running the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 operating system.
