2021届衡水中学新高考英语 语法三轮复习讲义 [17]there be 结构的一般现在时 一、 （定义）：表示 “某地有某人或某物” 二、 （构成）“there be (is /are) + 主语 + 地点状语”表 示“某地有某人或某物”， 写成句子的时候要写成：“有某人某物在某地”，be 的形 式与主语在数上要保持一致，即如果主语是可数名词的单数形 式或不可数名词，be 要用 is；如果主语是可数名词的复数形式， be 要用are。如： There is an apple in the bag. There is some milk in the cup. There are many students here today. 1.there be 结构的一般现在时的否定式是在 be(is / are) 后加 not。如： There isn’t any milk in the cup. There aren’t many students here today. 2.there be 结构的一般现在时的疑问式是把 be(is / are) 提到there 前，肯定答语为“Yes, there is / are.”；否定答语 为“No,there isn’t / aren’t.”。如： —Is there any milk in the cup? —Yes,there is. / No, there isn’t. —Are there many students here today? —Yes,there are. / No, there aren’t. 【注意】 在there be 结构中，如果有两个或两个以上主语时，be 的形式通常与最近的一个主语保持一致。如： There is a pen and two pencils in my pencil box. （就 近原则） 【温馨提示】 there be 表示“存在”，而 have 表示“拥有”，主语通常是人。 如： There are some books in the bag.
