Technical Bulletin JEFFAMINE® EDR-176 Polyetheramine JEFFAMINE EDR-176 polyetheramine is a relatively low molecular weight, reactive polyether diamine. As an epoxy curing agent it provides moderately rapid cures, and cured resins with good mechanical properties and excellent impact and thermal shock resistance. It could be used in polyamides to modify hydrophilicity and improve antistatic properties, etc. This product is more reactive than most of the other polyetheramines in the JEFFAMINE polyetheramine family. For optimum performance in coatings, it is recommended that JEFFAMINE EDR-176 polyetheramine be adducted.
