Introduction o With a history of 2000 to 3000 years, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has formed a unique system to cure illness. The most used TCM is called the herb medicine. Basically, herb medicine is gathering a bunch of plants and maybe some animals, boil it in water for a period of time, and instead of eating the plants and animals, you could just simply drink the boiled water which contains the active ingredients from the plants and animals! Anyways, in this power point presentation, you will get familiar with the five elements of TCM, several famous people who basically created TCM, and the difference between TCM and western medicine, herb medicine, acupuncture, and cupping. First, let’s explore the five elements! Introduction 4.
