Tocreatetwo-dimensionalplots
plot(x,y)
Theargumentsxandyareeachavector(one-dimensionalarray).
Bothvectorsmusthavethesamenumberofelements.
WhentheplotcommandisexecutedafigureiscreatedintheFigureWindow.Thecurveisconstructedofstraight-linesegmentsthatconnectthepointswhosecoordinatesaredefinedbytheelementofthevectorsxandy.
Thefigurethatiscreatedhasaxeswithlinearscaleanddefaultrange.
Forexample,
x=[123577.5810];
y=[26.5775.5468];
plot(x,y)
Theplotappearsonthescreeninbluewhichisthedefaultlinecolor.
Theplotcommandhasadditionaloptionalargumentsthatcanbeusedtospecifythecolorandstyleofthelineandthecolorandtypeofmarkers,ifanyaredesired.
Withtheseoptionsthecommandhastheform:
