Theobjectives and principles for establishing the database of this system was elaborated. Meanwhile， the structure，technical feasibility of the system and system function was designed preliminarily. 3S technology developsrapidly， however， currently there was no developed MIS for the area of grassland animal husbandrymanagement， this study demotrated a realistic significance for the final establishment of this animalhusbandry MIS
