True ease in writing comes from art, not chance, As those move easiest who have learn’d to dance. — PopeAlexander Pope (1688-1744), poet and satirist of the English Augustan period.Interpretation: If you wish to write with ease, you have to learn the art of writing just as you have to learn the art of dancing if you wish to dance gracefully. Explanation: Why do you write? Perhaps because you have information and facts to tell, ideas and views to air and feelings and emotions to express. You write with ease, to show your breeding, But easy writing’s vile hard reading. — R.B. SheridanRichard B. Sheridan?(1751-1816), an English playwright and politician.Interpretation: If one composes a passage in an easygoing thoughtless manner, the result will be difficult to read.
