Discovering Useful Structures (P6);Look at the pictures and guess what happened.;Perhaps the story is: ;1. The train has arrived.;Our school is large and beautiful. It is named SSL school. Eight is a lucky number in China. Traveling is my favorite. To study hard is our duty. What we need is more time. ;2. 谓语 (Predicate): 说明主语的动作或状态,一般由及物动词和不及物动词充当。;Practice--Underline the predicate in each sentence.;3. 宾语 (Object): 表示动作、行为的对象。宾语一般可由名词、代词、数词、动名词、动词不定式、从句等充当。 及物动词后称为动词宾语,介词后称为介词宾语。;My brother hasn’t done his homework. People all over the world speak English. My daughter bought me a beautiful dress. ;4. 宾语补足语 (Object complement): 用来补充说明宾语的情况。 可以由形容词、名词、副词、介词短语、不定式、现在分词、过去分词充当。;I consider your brother a clever boy. I found the classroom empty. I saw him enter the room. ;5. 表语 (Predicative): 用在系动词(link-v.)之后, 说明主语“是什么” “怎么样”;一般可由名词、形容词、动名词、动词不定式、代词、数词、介词短语等充当。;1. 表状态:be 2. 表感官:look, sound, smell, taste, feel 3. 表变化:become, grow, turn, get, go,fall 4. 表持续,保持:keep, stay,remain 5. 表似乎,像:seem,appear;1. We are the master of our future. 2. The old man felt very sad. 3. Our country will become stronger;1. The train has arrived.;? Class begins. ? The sun has risen. ? What he said does not matter. ;? Who knows the answer? ? He has refused to help them. ? He admitted that he was mistaken. ;有些及物动词可以有两个宾语: 直接宾语(Direct Object)和间接宾语(Indirect Object), 称为双宾语。这两个宾语往往一个指人(间接宾语IO), 另一个指物(直接宾语DO). He gave me a book. ; 间接宾语一般放在直接宾语之前。有时为了强调间接宾语,也可以将直接宾语放在间接宾语之前,要借助于介词to或for。 He passed me the dictionary? ( IO )( DO) He passed the dictionary to me. She bought me a beautiful dress. ( IO )( DO) She bought a beautiful dress for me. ;主谓双宾 (S+ V+ IO+ DO);主谓宾 + 宾补 (S+ V+ O +OC);? This is an English-Chinese dictionary. ? The dinner smells good. ? Everything looks different. ?
