Methods The psychiatric Department of our hospital has implemented the OEC management model since March 2017， selected 64 patients who did not implement the OEC management model from June 2016 to December 2016as the control group， and 64 patients who implemented the OEC management model from March 2017to March 2018 as the observation group. The quality of nuing management before and after implementation was compared， as well as the incidence of advee events and nuing satisfaction of the two groups of patients. Results The quality of nuing management， such as basic nuing quality， nuing paperwork， nuing skill operation， fit aid management quality and nuing safety quality， were all significantly higher than those before implementation(P<0.05）。 Nuing satisfaction was significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05）。 The incidence of advee events was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05）。 Conclusion OEC management model can significantly improve the quality of nuing management in psychiatric department， effectively improve the nuing satisfaction of patients， and reduce the incidence of advee events. It is worthy of wide promotion and application in
