沙拉 沙拉是英语Salad的音译，汉字写作“沙拉”。沙拉（Salad）一词来源于拉丁语中的“沙”（Sal)，“沙”即盐的意思。 沙拉是用各种凉透了的熟料或是可以直接食用的生料加工成较小的形状后，再加入调味品或浇上各种冷少司或冷调味汁拌制而成的。沙拉的原料选择范围很广，各种蔬菜、水果、海鲜、禽蛋、肉类等均可用于沙拉的制作。但要求原料新鲜细嫩，符合卫生要求。沙拉大都具有色泽鲜艳、外形美观、鲜嫩爽口、解腻开胃的特点。 有时候也将拌制沙拉的各种沙司酱、调味汁称作沙拉。 沙拉作为冷头盘，以清凉蔬菜为主，如生菜、西红柿、芦笋、茄子、青椒等，部分沙拉会以肉为辅料，如肉批、培根（熏火腿）、龙虾、虾仁、鸡丝、鸡肝、鹅肝，当然还少不了奶酪。 A salad is a dish consisting of small pieces of food, which may be mixed with a sauce or salad dressing. Dessert salads, sweet versions often containing fruit, gelatin and/or whipped cream.
