Emeishan City is also known for its delicious local cuisine. Some of the popular dishes include spicy hotpot, Yaan beef and tofu. Additionally, a variety of local specialty snacks, such as sweet and sour beef, ginseng mushroom, roast beef, and fish with mountain pepper can all be found in Emeishan. In recent years, Emeishan City has developed into a vibrant economic hub. The city offers a range of modern-day shopping facilities, including malls, department stores, supermarkets and street markets.
