Greater detail on materials and coatings selection to resist the external environment. b. Clarification on the use of impact tested carbon steels for vessels and piping. c. Editorial cleanup throughout. Because of the extent of changes, revisions have not been identified by a bar in the margin as is normal practice. This Group Practice (GP) was created to supersede GP 36-10 and provide requirements for materials selection for construction of topsides equipment for oil and gas production facilities.
