Introduction

The Brake Release Electrical Board (BRE) is located in the door frame (EI Panel) of the machineroomless (G N 2) elevator and provides a power supply to operate an elevator brake by a battery in rescue operation mode to allow a running of a car until the next floor level to release any passengers.
